Why I started coaching

Ten years ago I was a burnt-out product manager who could not have told you what I wanted from a Tuesday, let alone a career.

What changed was not a course or a book. It was one conversation with someone who asked better questions than I was asking myself, and then waited for the answer.

That is the whole job, as far as I can tell. Ask the better question, then stop talking.
